A LIGHT-FILLED ATTIC RETREAT
What began as a simple lighting consultation blossomed into a full-suite attic transformation—an inspired collaboration between homeowner, designer, and contractor. Together, we reimagined the space into a serene and functional primary suite, with every finish chosen thoughtfully.
Custom black steel railings became a grounding detail, echoed in the selection of matching hardware throughout. Skylights and windows, all operable by remote, invite natural light while white shades provide a soft cocoon when needed.
The result is a harmonious, elevated space that feels both restful and personal—a true retreat nestled under the eaves.
Two new alcove dormers now define the room: one housing a built-in desk, the other offering a quiet sitting area—
a dedicated space to read, rest, and reflect.
