A THOUGHTFUL REFRESH OF AN ARTIST’S HOME
PORTLAND, OR
Originally remodeled by the client’s parents in the 1970s—with handcrafted stained glass and an airy, open layout—this kitchen held decades of love and artistic expression.
Our intention was to preserve the most soulful elements of that legacy while bringing the space into harmony with the rest of the home.

New flooring, finishes, fixtures, and an updated exterior door gently weave together clean modern lines with artistic heritage,
creating a kitchen that feels both grounded and luminous.

We kept the original beams, window trim, and paneled wood walls from the ’70s, letting their warmth anchor the room.
The stained glass remains a centerpiece, catching light and memory in equal measure.
