WHITE SALMON TOWNHOUSES
WHITE SALMON, WA
Perched on a hillside surrounded by wild forest and expansive views, this pair of townhomes serves as the prototype for a planned four-home development.
S. Baird Design partnered closely with the builder and developer—longtime collaborators—to select finishes and color palettes that blend seamlessly into the Pacific Northwest landscape.

Exterior colors were chosen to echo the tones of the environment, helping the buildings nestle quietly into their hillside perch.
With refined interiors, thoughtful details, and a deep respect for their setting, these townhomes offer a serene, modern escape into nature.Box-pleated curtains with sound-attenuating properties create zones for task-specific work, while lightweight sheers allow for movement, natural light, and visual softness.

Inside, crisp white walls and black-framed windows create the effect of a modern gallery, where the ever-changing outdoors becomes the art.
Natural materials—wood floors rich with knots and burl, textured doors, and a raw wood beam stretching across the living space—evoke the surrounding wilderness and bring a sense of grounded warmth.
