MID-CENTURY RESTORED
WEST LINN, OR
RESTORING ROOTS IN THE FOREST
This award-winning remodel honors the craftsmanship and spirit of a hidden Pacific Northwest mid-century home.
Designed in close consultation with the original owner-builder, the project was rooted in respect—for both the structure’s architectural integrity and its personal history.
The restoration preserved key elements like mahogany wall paneling, cedar-plank ceilings, and original sliding partitions made from burlap and amber-toned resin.

Previously covered oak floors were revealed and refinished, and the layout—especially the compact kitchen—was carefully preserved.
Modern updates, like Carrara marble counters and a relocated cooktop, coexist effortlessly with vintage furnishings and new additions.
The result is a timeless, soulful space that bridges generations.
