URBAN LIVING IN A HISTORIC WAREHOUSE

PORTLAND, OR

Housed in a former 1920s warehouse converted to lofts in the 1980s, this Pearl District residence was reimagined as a minimal, industrial retreat tailored to its tech-savvy owner.

Embracing the raw beauty of the space, our design emphasized utility, texture, and clean lines—celebrating the building’s history while enhancing livability.

Exposed wiring and rainwater pipes became deliberate design features, bringing sound and visual rhythm to the home. A custom sliding wall offers privacy without interrupting the flow of the open-plan layout, while tonal whites, shadow-inspired textiles, and iconic mid-century pieces ground the space in warmth and style.

The result: a thoughtfully edited city loft that balances function with industrial elegance.
