Set high above San Francisco in the iconic Berkeley Hills, this mid-century home had sat untouched for over four decades.
Our work began at the foundation—reviving essential systems like electrical, mechanical, and siding—but quickly expanded to more intimate spaces, including bathrooms, the laundry room, and lighting throughout.
Inspired by our clients’ love for both Japanese and mid-century design, we sought to preserve the spirit of the era while creating a calm, contemporary canvas.
Rich wood tones, sculptural forms, and intentional color blocking set the tone for a home that feels both vibrant and serene.
