CLINTON HOME NEW BUILD
PORTLAND, OR
NEW CONSTRUCTION—FOR LIVING, FOR WORKING
Relocating to Portland, our clients needed a home that could accommodate their growing family and provide a dedicated space for music and creative work. Upon discovering a new build with an attached ADU in the early stages of construction, they brought on our firm to rework the layout, select finishes, and oversee the process from design through completion.

The clients sought a refined, multicultural aesthetic grounded in quality, sustainable materials.
We worked closely with them and the builder to establish a calm, neutral palette that would serve as a warm backdrop for their global collection of art and objects.
A considerate mix of wood tones—white oak flooring and cabinetry, birch doors, and fir-capped handrails—adds subtle texture and depth throughout the space.
The home’s layout was adjusted to strengthen the connection between kitchen and living areas, while the music studio in the ADU provides a quiet space to create just steps from home.
