Our client came to us with a home full of potential and a longing to soften its edges — to let the natural light in, open the heart of the home, and cultivate warmth through curated materials and intentional space planning.
The goal was transformation without losing soul —
an evolution that honored what was already there, while making space for a new kind of ease.
At the center of this project: the kitchen —
once closed off and dim — now expansive and glowing. By removing a dividing wall and building a subtle addition, we created a seamless sense of flow and spaciousness.
New skylights, carefully placed, invite celestial light throughout the day, while updated lighting ensures warmth from dusk through dinner parties. Surfaces and appliances were completely renewed, chosen for both beauty and practicality — clean lines, natural textures, and soft, luminous finishes define the space.
The dining area was grounded through refinished cabinetry and updated wall colors —
hues chosen for their calming, enveloping effect. Throughout the home, new floors offer a quiet foundation — warm underfoot, timeless in tone.
In the bathroom, the footprint remained untouched — a conscious choice to preserve rhythm and flow. The fixtures, tile, cabinetry, and finishes were all re-done.
The result: an elegant update that feels both rooted and refreshed.
